Sitting in a sunny field a sunny field in the summer, a grasshopper sang and played her fiddle. Nearby an ant worked to gather food and store it for the winter. "Why do you work so hard," asked the grashopper "when food is plentiful and the winter is distant? You should come sing and play." But months later when winter arrived the grasshopper had saved no food, and she was forced to go to the ant and beg.
Oh, that's simply wonderful. I always adore pictures with detailed backgrounds, and this one's no exceptions - just look at those beautiful snow-covered mountains in the distance. And I love how much effort you put into all the details! Every little leaf and blade of grass is painted properly, and the way the light's playing across the CMC and Fiddlesticks is great, too. It's obvious you put a whole lot of effort into this, and Luna's sweet mane, it was worth it.
And Fiddlesticks! It's always great to see pictures of her, doubly so when they're as beautiful as this one. Thank you so much for creating and sharing this painting.
I can't say much more than "wow" when I look at this piece of art. Everything from the gorgeous scenery to the relaxed expressions on the CMC's faces as they listen to Fiddlesticks play all add to the atmosphere and overall beauty presented here. Kudos to you sir!
