Haven't drawn the apple siblings in a long while so it's about time. Tried to be careful in value control, still need to get better in breaking the composition up into distinct value sections but I think it's getting there.
The ponies themselves aren't, to me, good. They look so odd and fake. They look like they were made with clay. Appleblooms face looks disgusting. the hair, other than AppleBlooms, looks good, but the faces looks terrible. Sorry, but you did a good job though.
Wow! This is incredible!! I love how you put so much detail into this! You made every little strand of hair on their tails and manes, and the quality is amazing! You did so well on shading and shining, I love it so much! I have no words for how beautiful and amazing this is. You have talent. Keep it up!
Superb quality, it looks better because of the haze of the afternoon playing and weaving shadows betwixt the branches of the apple trees, another day of harvest halfway beneath their belt, and Applejack and her younger sister Apple Bloom discussing their plans for this afternoon while Big Macintosh calmly listens as he pulls the cart back home.
Interesting. I always like new takes on my work. I intended the time of day to be late morning with the harvest underway, hence why not all the baskets are full. However the light does match late afternoon as well and the baskets could be partly empty since they finished a section and are heading back.
